SELF-LIBERATED Fine Art Group Exhibit
Opening SAT. JUNE 5th, 6-10:00 PM
This exhibit celebrates the spirit of Juneteenth, the oldest celebrated commemoration of the ending of slavery in the United States. Yeah, yeah, Lincoln signed the Emancipation Proclamation that freed the enslaved officially, but we played a LARGE role in freeing ourselves, WE’RE CELEBRATING THAT.
The show will feature some of the best Black artists that embody the term. Artists that do things their way, on their own terms, trailblazers, leaders. The show will not only feature art, but we’ll also have music, a full bar, food vendor. It is a celebration after all.
