City of Hapeville’s Latinx International Film Festival

The City of Hapeville presents its second installment of Latinx International Film Festival at the Historic Academy Theater on Saturday, October 30, and Sunday, October 31, 2021. The films were curated by Atlanta-based, Mexican-born and Daytime Emmy award-winning filmmaker Jesús Andrés Lugo Gómez. This year’s selection includes 24 short independent films from directors across Latin America including Mexico, Chile, Colombia, Peru and Venezuela. The screenings will be held at 5 p.m. and 8 p.m. both nights, and attendees can RSVP via hapevilledayofthedead.org.

Tickets are also available the day(s) of the event at the Academy Theatre box office, located at 599 N. Central Avenue in Hapeville.
