“Layered” a solo art exhibition by Elaine Stephenson.
Within layers of painted glass, Elaine uses florals to explore her relationship to femininity, reframing the idea of fragility as strength. As a whole, the body of work explores new depths created by layers of light and shadow. The overlapping flowers reveal unexpected colors and patterns, alluding to the beautiful dualities found within ourselves.
