The Mammal Gallery, an art space and performance venue in the heart of Downtown, celebrates its grand opening tomorrow (Sat. Sept. 28) with performances by psych/prog/other-rock band Faun and a Pan Flute, the 4th Ward Afro-Klezmer Orchestra, and Hellier Ulysses.

In addition to the free show, the gallery will be featuring “All Drawings Everything,” a collaborative installation of art created during multiple drawing sessions over last month. All drawings will be on sale for $1 during the show for audience members to take home.

The new gallery joins programs like Brighten Up Broad Street that strive to add some much-needed vibrancy to central Downtown.
