SNAP, CRACKLE, BOOM: Come see a dazzling display even bigger than last year’s!

Independence Day is coming up, and with it comes the itch to watch sporadic explosions in the sky. If you can’t wait until the 4th, join the Atlanta community for a family-friendly night of free, fiery fun in East Atlanta. Glenwood Park’s annual fireworks production is back for it’s second official (and totally legal) year. Originating as a hobbyists’ illicit fireworks display, the will of the locals have allowed the show to evolve into a yearly tradition. IsaacJosephBand will delight your ears while the fireworks show captivates the eye. As a free event, donations are much appreciated to keep the fireworks booming. Just think, more donations means more explosive material can be purchased… This event has a lot of green space for sitting but parking is limited, so split an Uber with your friends, family, or anyone else who enjoys colors and convulsive action! In case of rain, the event will be pushed back to the following Sunday (7/1).

Free. 6:30-10:30 p.m. Sat., June 30. Glenwood Park, 928 Garrett St. https://www.facebook.com/events/1666087843488197/
