ESCAPE FROM NOISE: Mark Hosler

As a member of seminal sound collage collective Negativland, Mark Hosler contributed to some of the most ground-breaking music created in the late ’80s and early ‘90s. On his own, Hosler continues in that tradition, laying out a table of gadgets, pedals, and various electronics for a face-melting good time. His live shows feature disembodied voices and deconstructed beats floating over Dadaist soundscapes as listeners question their own perception of reality.

With Duet For Theremin and Lap Steel, Bent Frequency, and more. $8. 8 p.m. The Bakery, 825 Warner St S.W. www.thebakeryatlanta.com.
