HASAN THE MAN: Minhaj swings into the A with a one-night, two-show stay at the Tabernacle on August 25.

Hasan Minhaj is one of comedy’s fastest-rising stars. With a breakout year that seemed never-ending, Minhaj started turning heads as a correspondent on the new iteration of “The Daily Show with Trevor Noah.” He then took his politically-savvy wit to the White House as a featured speaker for the White House correspondents’ dinner in 2017 and released his critically acclaimed special, Homecoming King, on Netflix the same year. Before he departs the Daily Show for his own weekly show at Netflix in October, Minhaj takes the stage for his “Before the Storm” national stand-up tour. He’ll swing into the A with a one-night, two-show stay at the Tabernacle.

7 p.m. and 9:30 p.m. $29-$45. Sat., Aug. 25. The Tabernacle, 152 Luckie St. N.W. 404-659-9022. www.tabernacleatl.com.
