Happy Labor Day! Enjoy the long weekend of wearing costumes, watching college students earns millions of dollars for athletic departments, and celebrating Black Gay Pride. To the hard-working people who pour drinks, drive trains, and build homes, we salute you.

Conceived with the rise of labor movements and unions in the late 19th century, this holiday celebrates the contributions workers have made to the development, security, and prosperity of the U.S. Take some time to lounge around in sweatpants on this fine Monday off; you’ve earned it!
