Angine de Poitrine, Dolphin Hyperspace, The Eastern — It’s hard to imagine that many who only listened to this Canadian duo’s (drums and guitar) commercially resistant albums of complex prog, math, and microtonal rock would have much interest seeing them. But with their bizarre, artsy, polka-dotted costumes, stripped-down approach and peculiarly masked faces, they have attracted legions of cult fans that caused this show — their first in Atlanta — to not only sell out in a few hours, but move from Masquerade to The Eastern. They will play songs from both albums (the newest, simply titled ll, was released a year ago), with the dark humored intensity and dizzying technical proficiency that has made them a peculiar. but wildly successful cultural and musical oddity. — Hal Horowitz
