Har Mar Superstar is an odd mix indeed. Part Phil Collins ’80s cheese, part full-on sax soul band, part Jon Lovitz look-alike with jokes (good and bad), and all nonstop dance beats. For the too serious music or comedy lover, it can be difficult getting past the constant throwback sounds or questionable demeanor. For those of us happy to let our hair down, Har Mar’s show leads to a spectacularly fun and sweaty night. PLS PLS is scheduled to join the bill.
