Atlanta-born bassist Kyle Sanders, brother of Mastodon singer and bassist Troy Sanders, holds down the groove metal supergroup Hellyeah’s sure-handed rhythm section. Sanders and Pantera drummer Vinnie Paul set the pace for guitarists Tom Maxwell (Nothingface) and Christian Brady’s scorching riffs as well as Mudvayne singer Chad Gray’s on-stage antics. The lineup solidified in 2014 and cut its teeth last summer sharing the traveling Rockstar Energy Mayhem Festival’s main stage with co-headliners King Diamond and Slayer. Now the band headlines its own tour, supporting the June 3 release of the band’s first album featuring Sanders, Unden!able.
