Culled from the ashes of Galaxie 500, Luna has spent the last 25 years releasing lush and lethargic dream pop largely indebted to the droning Americana of the Velvet Underground, the Feelies, and Lee Hazlewood. The band now embarks on a rare tour with an even more rare Atlanta appearance, spread out across two nights. Matt Hollywood (of the Brian Jonestown Massacre) and the Bad Feelings open Friday night’s show. Diane Coffee (of Foxygen) opens Saturday.
