Singer and multi-instrumentalist Mac DeMarco paved the way for a whole slew of folks both dad-like in dress and actual familial status to enjoy jangle pop while still feeling cool. That’s quite a feat. He followed 2014’s well-received Salad Days with this year’s Another One in a charmingly literal way. Both Captured Tracks releases summon stoned jubilee with DeMarco’s playful guitar and social napping vibes. Not a bad party, honestly.
