Now in its eighth year, the Mad Decent Block Party is a touring summer showcase of artists affiliated with Diplo’s Mad Decent record label. This year’s EDM party begins in Atlanta at the Masquerade Music Park on Fri., July 31, at 2 p.m., and features an array of the label’s flagship electronic acts. From the hard-style hip-hop of Yellow Claw and bass-heavy sounds of Shiba San to Zeds Dead’s dubstep and the live instrumentation trap of Keys N Krates, this block party has a mad-stellar lineup. After battling the summer heat of this all-day rave, the dancehall antics of Diplo’s own Major Lazer (now an FXX animated series) close out the evening.
