A Seussome Twosome

Saturday March 24, 2018 11:00 am EDT
On March 24, 2018, join Capitol City Opera in an exciting and fun performance of “A Seussome Twosome!” And don't let the word "opera" scare you — with bright costumes, zany characters, and well loved stories, this is extremely kid-friendly classical music. Using the poetry of Dr. Seuss’s Gertrude McFuzz and Green Eggs and Ham, this twosome is an easy to understand, engaging introduction to opera. Gertrude McFuzz and Sam I Am show kids the importance of self-acceptance and keeping an open mind — even if the food is green! General admission tickets are $10.00, and this work is appropriate for kids from pre-K to 5th grade. Made possible through Capitol City Opera’s “Opera Outreach for Children” program, this is a one-time public performance that you won’t want to miss!
