Urban Cannibals is a bodega and deli in East Atlanta Village run by chef Calavino Donati and artist/activist Doria Roberts. The shop features specialty foods and a modest selection of eco-friendly drugstore essentials such as toothpaste and laundry detergent. Doria Roberts and chef Calavino Donati reopen their two previous concepts, Urban Cannibals and Madre+Mason, under one roof — one that happens to be the former home of Urban Cannibals. The duo kicks things off with Taco Tuesday at Madre+Mason. UC brunch returns on Sat., Sept 30.
