The Electric Nature heads "Out" to Athens

Psych outfit records one last full band before moving to Athens.

Recorded just a few days before Michael Potter uprooted and relocated to Athens, the Electric Nature's "Out" is a one-off blitz of sprawling psych-rock that features the band's full lineup. From the initial moments of buzzing, stray frequencies, and a persistently hulking riff, "Out" locks into a white-hot groove that the band has been perfecting over the past few years. As though stumbling into the tail-end of an hour-long jam session, the song's lyrical bit (repeated twice) provides a vague narrative to the lumbering instrumental workouts. By the end, the whole scene dissolves into a heaving, sludgy dirge. Stream the track below.
