Every weekday morning around 9:55 a.m., Frank Ski ends V103’s top-rated Frank and Wanda Morning Show on a spiritual note. The Inspirational Vitamin, as the segment (compiled mostly from Christian evangelist Joel Osteen’s daily Bible meditations) is called, is just one of the things that helped set Ski apart from the glut of urban and Atlanta-based morning shows early on in his twelve-year tenure as V103’s popular on-air personality.

?
Another distinction is his longtime friendship with Bishop Eddie Long, who also became a staple of the Frank and Wanda Morning Show, delivering his own version of the Inspirational Vitamin almost religiously on Friday mornings over V103’s airwaves.

As a personal friend and member of Long’s New Birth Missionary Baptist Church, Ski’s struggle was audible this morning as he attempted to separate his role as a broadcaster from his allegiance to Bishop Long in light of the newly filed lawsuit alleging that Long has been coercing two male church members into having sexual relationships with him.

“I’m not the kind of person that when something goes wrong I separate myself and get away,” Ski said on-air this morning. “I believe in being a friend to someone not just when they’re up and you can take advantage of them, but also when it’s times of trouble — that’s not to address any of the issues, I’m just saying I am a loyal friend.”
