Chevy’s chase
Goodbye Rio Bravo Cantina, hello Chevy’s. The Tex-Mex restaurant chain was purchased by San Francisco’s Chevy’s Inc. last year from Applebee’s International Inc., according to the San Francisco Business Times. The first location to make the name change in Atlanta is on Powers Ferry Road at I-285. The menu will retain the Tex-Mex fare.

Cure-all
The 10th annual Uncork a Cure takes guests on “A Wine Odyssey” to raise funds for HIV research. More than 250 international wines will be up for the tasting along with a selection of hors d’oeuvres. May 11 from 6-8:30 p.m. $45-$150. SciTrek, 395 Piedmont Ave. 404-876-2317.

Virtual pub

See parties in motion via the StellaCam at Portside Pub in Budapest, the Irish Bank in San Francisco and, on May 10, our own Neighbor’s goes live as well. Brain food
Hear jazz and funk from Wombat and Audible Minds, see paintings, photography, glassblowing and more from local artists, taste a fusion of traditional Indian and contemporary American cuisine by Archna Becker’s ANIC Catering and drink your fill of Atlanta’s micro-brews at Fusion for the Senses at The Atlanta Brewing Company.
