Beer Pick of the Week - Stoudt’s Double IPA
This bottle-conditioned monster pours a hazy orange with a thick, sticky head. Unlike some DIPAs, this one doesn’t overwhelm with hops, but there’s plenty of piney, grapefruity flavors to complement the rich, sweet malts. Honey, melon, and brandy-like grape coat the tongue, and the 10 percent alcohol comes through in the finish. Warming and refreshing at the same time with a luscious, creamy mouthfeel.
