Rapper, singer, and multi-instrumentalist B.o.B, returns to Smith’s Olde Bar for his annual Christmas Eve concert. For those in the know, B.o.B has got the gifts. He has rocked the Morningside music institution since 2009, laying the groundwork there for his 2010 Atlantic Records/Grand Hustle debut,The Adventures of Bobby Ray. Since then, he’s released multiple albums and mixtapes on his No Genre imprint — a sort of nondescript descriptor to label his ambitious, entrancing soundscapes from guitar rock to ambient meditations featuring astute observations of human relationships to wild conspiracy theories about the shape of the earth.
