NEWS BRIEF: New Stone Mountain logo excludes Confederate soldiers

Stone Mountain Park will get a new logo that eliminates the infamous carving depicting Confederate President Jefferson Davis and Generals Stonewall Jackson and Robert E. Lee. The Stone Mountain Memorial Association voted Monday to make the change in acknowledgement of ongoing criticism of the park’s Confederate legacy. .ajc.com
