NEWS BRIEF: Marches for women’s reproductive rights set for Atlanta, Alpharetta
Protests for reproductive rights planned.
At least 1,000 supporters of women’s rights are expected at an Alpharetta march on Saturday, Oct. 2. to protest the Texas abortion ban. The March for Reproductive Rights will take place from 10 a.m. until noon starting at the intersection of Encore and Northpoint Parkways. A related event, the Atlanta March for Reproductive Justice, is set for the same day at Liberty Plaza, opposite the state Capitol, from 11 a.m. until 2 p.m.
