Students at T.H. Slater Elementary School will receive new coats for the winter as a result of a partnership between muffin and bagel producer Thomas’ Breads and national nonprofit Operation Warm. 350 kids at the southwest Atlanta facility will be presented with “brand new, high-quality coats” at a ceremony on Oct. 14 in the gymnasium. operationwarm.org
