Third Annual Día de Muertos Festival Returns to Roswell, GA

Celebrating the vibrant and beloved Mexican tradition, festival goers are invited to enjoy Aztec dancers, an Oaxaca group, and a mariachi band along with free candy sugar skull face painting and an array of Mexican cuisine from authentic tamales to savory empanadas. For those ages 21 and up, a tequila and margarita tasting experience showcasing the unique flavors Mexico will be available for $35. At 5 p.m., attendees wearing their best Day of the Dead costumes can compete in the Catrina and Catrin costume contest for their chance to win cash prizes. The festival will also have an ofrenda, a traditional altar honoring friends and family that have passed, for guests that would like to bring a small memento or photo of a loved one.
