Get ready for a spine-tingling adventure as the third annual Spooky Spirits 5K is set to return to Suwanee’s Town Center Park on Saturday, October 14th, 2023. Presented by the team behind the immensely popular Beer Chaser 5k, this Halloween-themed puts a bewitching twist on the traditional 5K, combining costumes and cocktails for a truly spirited experience.

Whether you’re a competitive runner seeking to conquer personal records or looking to enjoy a leisurely stroll with your cocktail-loving friends, this timed and Peachtree Road Race-qualifying event is designed for everyone. Choose the ticket that embodies your Halloween spirit — whether nonstop or with “spirit” stops — and we’ll all cheers together at the finish line! Mark your calendar: Registration opens Friday, July 21, 2023!

The 5K kicks off on October 14th at 11 a.m. and will follow the scenic Suwanee Creek Greenway, ending back at Town Center Park. Those who purchase a ticket with “spirits” will be able to pause at each of the five Spirit Stations along the course and hydrate with a 3-ounce cocktail sample. Each Spirit Station will feature a different cocktail and theme, guaranteed to be more treat than trick.

For those opting to power through without spirit stops, fear not! All runners (over 21) will be rewarded with a full cocktail at the race’s conclusion. We also invite all participants to immerse themselves in the Halloween spirit by donning their most creative costumes. Awards will be presented for Best Female Costume, Best Male Costume, and Best Group Costume, adding to the festive ambiance.

Every runner will also get to take home an official Spooky Spirits 5K long-sleeve T-shirt, medal, and souvenir glass to brag about your well-deserved accomplishment. It’s going to be a frightening good time!
