Have you ever had the dream to dance like a professional dancer? Dance Canvas invites movers of all ages to experience our FREE Artist-to-Artist choreography workshops in The Backyard. Dance Canvas’ goal is to introduce the Atlanta community to the world of professional dance! Each month, Dance Canvas will make you move with exciting, innovative choreography in all styles of dance...from Contemporary, to Hip Hop, to Ballet and much more. Don’t miss your chance to dance the night away!
Limited spots will be available for each class. If you are not able to attend, please release your tickets to allow others to enjoy! If advance registration is sold out, we will have limited on-site registration.

Suzi Bass Award-winning choreographer, Angela Harris, blends jazz, contemporary, modern, and ballet into a class that entices participants to learn how to tell stories through movement! Whether you are an experienced performer or have Broadway dreams, come out to the Home Depot Backyard dance the night away!
Hip Hop Throwback with Zach & Dorinda Walker

Back by Popular Demand! Join husband and wife duo The Walkers for a funky, 90’s-influenced Hip-Hop class perfect for all ages and skill levels! Zach and Dorinda have more than a decade of experience as instructors and choreographers working in the commercial dance industry for music artists, film, and television. They create a fun, safe class environment where people can learn freely, gaining foundational knowledge while sharing the joy of this social dance form and the music that influences its culture. Get ready to jam!

What should I wear to class?
We suggest wearing athletic clothing that is “breathable” and allows you to move. For both the Contemporary and Hip Hop classes, sneakers or dance shoes would be appropriate (*no flip flops or sandals)
Do I need dance experience to take class?
All are welcome! Our teachers will give options for dancers of all levels! Our classes are designed to give people a chance to learn professional choreography from Artists and Dance Companies in a fun environment.
Are children allowed?
While we love little ones, and our classes are open to all, our teachers will be teaching to adults. Children under 16 years old should attend class with a guardian. The classes are probably not appropriate for children under 10 years old, unless the participant has dance experience.
Limited spots will be available for each class. If you are not able to attend, please release your tickets to allow others to enjoy!

FREE Parking is available in the Mercedes-Benz Lot across from Gate 1 on the corner of Northside Dr. and Magnolia St. NW on a first-come, first-serve basis. Additional parking will be available on an hourly basis in the Orange Deck.
Rideshare: Guests are encouraged to arrive at the Vine City MARTA Station and use the crosswalk or pedestrian bridge to walk across Northside Drive to Gate 1.
MARTA: The preferred station for arrival and departure is the Vine City Station. This station will drop you off just across the street from Gate 1 at Mercedes-Benz Stadium. Use the crosswalk or pedestrian bridge at Northside Drive
